Whole Sardines Information
Rich in omega 3, sardines and pilchards are actually the same species – smaller specimens are commonly known as sardines and larger, older ones, as pilchards. Sardines and pilchards range in size from 80g–150g and are sourced on the Cornish Coast in the warmer waters.
Many of our boats use handlines and rods to catch wild Sardines. We have an excellent knowledge of what makes a good hand line fisherman, and many of our fisherman have been practising this method for over 30 years.
