In the heart of Hayle, Cornwall, you will find our family-owned fishery called Wild Harbour. One of our most valuable assets is our expert team. Everyone at Wild Harbour is passionate about our community and the sustainable seafood we offer. Each member of our excellent team, from customer service to fish preparation, everyone plays a crucial role in your fish delivery.

When you place an order for fresh fish or shellfish for your restaurant with us, you will almost always speak with Jace or Patrick. These two are the Wild Harbour oracles, the fountains of knowledge, they are both on the front lines of what we do, speaking directly to chefs across the UK, advising them on everything from catch method, sustainability, and what’s in season for their menus.

Our talented team of blockmen have over 30 years of experience, allowing us to give consistency when preparing fish, and you can rely on our many years in the retail trade to assure correct portion control.

Our packaging team hand select your fish and pack your order with care and attention, using eco-friendly fresh sea weed, ice and temperature controlled insulated boxes, you are sure to be impressed when your order arrives. 

We utilise national couriers to carry our fish and shellfish around the UK. Our drivers build relationships with our customers in order to better plan their routes each day and ensure deliveries arrive as early as feasible.

Our back office support team ensure you’re invoiced on time and will take care of any account issues, as well as support our customer service team.

Our founder, Abi Taylor, steers the ship, she has an infectious passion for our fishermen, sustainable seafood, and she installs this into all our staff. Abi is key in maintaining our companies core values and principles.

I started Wild Harbour in 2012 with a love for seafood and some wild goals. That leap of faith has allowed me to do what I love and the flexibility to spend time with my daughters. Life as a business owner and mum is challenging, but I am forever grateful for the business, employees, fisherman and customers that are all part of the Wild Harbour story. When I’m not working you can find me & my three wonderful daughters making trips to the beach, cooking up something delicious in the kitchen or spending time with our close family”

Jace, our Sales and Accounts Director, is best known for being the star of our Instagram and the main client point-of-contact. Jace has been immensely essential in the business’s growth over the last three years.


Office Manager
Patrick Welham

Patrick is our go-to man for a number of reasons; from invoicing, computing, purchasing, accounting, and the odd sales pitch! He remains the cornerstone of the office and is always willing to lend a helping hand.


Finance Administrator
Karen Melbourne

Having joined us only in late 2018, Karen has had to catch up fast and hit the ground running, so to speak. In doing so, she has developed into a superb account manager, responding to all manner of enquiries.
